Recent dialogue stays within reach.

Time Machine keeps a short local history while the overlay is closed. Open Termy after a line disappears and continue from the frame you need.

Keep recent frames

When enabled, Termy keeps at most one completed frame per second in CPU RAM while its overlay is hidden.

Filter repeated dialogue

After the overlay opens, Termy identifies materially different dialogue and subtitle states so repeated frames do not clutter the history.

Read any available frame

Move to an earlier line without losing normal word interaction. Definitions, translations, pronunciation, and vocabulary saving keep working.

Use the same overlay, with two more controls.

History starts with the oldest available dialogue at 1/N and ends at the live frame at N/N.

Gamepad Move through frames

Up and Down still change the overlay font size. The thumbsticks continue to move between words.

A short history in memory.

Time Machine is disabled by default. Turn it on in Settings when recovering missed dialogue is worth the additional memory use.

Stored locally

Retained pixels stay in CPU RAM. Text recognition runs on your device, and screenshots are not sent to Termy servers for recognition.

Released when disabled

Turning Time Machine off stops background capture and releases its retained history.

Bounded by your setting

Choose a retention window in seconds. Lowering it removes older frames immediately; increasing it applies to future frames.

Choose how far back you can go.

Both plans include unlimited Time Machine sessions, including offline use. The plan limit controls the age of retained frames.
