12. AI-Generated Voice Audio
Some Termy features, such as spoken training exercises, play audio that is produced by an automated text-to-speech (AI) model. This audio is machine-generated and does not represent the voice of any real person.
This audio is generated on our servers by Supertonic-3 (© 2026 Supertone Inc.) and made available to you as part of our service. The model is licensed under the BigScience Open RAIL-M License, a copy of which is available at huggingface.co/Supertone/supertonic-3. That license imposes use-based restrictions that pass through to the generated audio. By using Termy, you agree not to use, or attempt to use, the generated audio to:
- break any applicable law or infringe the rights of others;
- impersonate a real person, or present the audio as a genuine human recording in a deceptive or misleading way;
- harass, defame, discriminate against, harm, or endanger any person, including minors;
- generate or spread false or misleading information; or
- use it for any other purpose prohibited by the "Use Restrictions" of the BigScience Open RAIL-M License.
These restrictions are in addition to the rest of these Terms and continue to apply to any generated audio you save or export.
